- That the Bionova® software is closed. Turn off the
computer for 5 seconds and turn it on again.
- Connect your PC and the auto-reader to the same ne-
twork, preferably through the specified network cable.
Avoid connections of the PC and the auto-reader to
the network through Wifi.
- That the firewall and the PC Anti-Virus do not block
the execution of the Bioupdate software.
UPDATING PROCEDURE:
1-Connect the auto-reader to the same network that
your PC is connected through a specified Ethernet ca-
ble and make sure you have an internet connection.
2-Verify that the connection indicator on the main screen
changes from to
auto-reader has a connection to the network. Enter the
auto-reader Information screen by pressing
2-Open the Bioupdate program.
3-Select the equipment you want to update, check that
the IP is correct. Press the Start button to update.
4-Wait until the software indicates that the update pro-
cess has been completed. The auto-reader will issue a
ticket indicating the new Firmware version.
NOTE: This process must be repeated every time a new
version of Firmware is available, which will be informed
on the website.
NOTE: When it is necessary to update the graphical en-
vironment, the update process may take 30 minutes or
more. This will be notified with a message to the user
from the Bioupdate software.

Calibration

The calibration procedure of the equipment is des-
cribed in the attached software manual ("Bionova®
Traceability Software for Automatic Reading and Tra-
ceability of Rapid, Super Rapid and Ultra Rapid Bio-
logical Indicators and Hygiene Monitoring System").

Website of the equipment

The IC10/20FRLCD Auto-reader has an internal website
that allows knowing in real time and remotely the sta-
tus, configuration and history of results of the device.
You can access the website from any mobile device,
tablet or PC connected to the same network as the au-
to-reader. To access, you must first know the IP address
that the router in your network has assigned to the au-
to-reader. For this, you must press the icon
on the main screen. A screen will be displayed where
the batch and serial number of the equipment and its IP
address will be informed, besides other data.

Homepage | Status screen

In any web browser (from a connected device to the
same network as the auto-reader) enter the following
address: http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx. The "X" characters re-
present the IP number reported on the device. Then,
the equipment's website homepage will open.
On this screen you will be able to see the status of each
of the positions as well as the remaining incubation
time of those in the middle of a reading process. Also,
from this screen, you will have access to the history of
results and settings

Results history

You can access this page from the homepage or from
any other page, by clicking on the icon
you will find the history of the last 208 results grouped
by 10 per page. By clicking on Previous or Next, you will
be able to scroll all the results that are stored in chro-
nological order.

Settings

You can access this page from the homepage or from
any other page, by clicking on the icon
you will find language configuration, time zone and
time. These parameters can be configured and synchro-
nized immediately with the auto-reader.
