3.2

Converter set up

Follow the assembly instructions supplied with the
converter and check that the following conditions are met:
• Section "Safety" of this manual has been read and
understood
• The electrical connection from the cutter head is
connected to the power supply
• The electrical connection from the feed motor is
connected to the cutter head
• The foot switch is plugged in
• All covers are secured
• Hands are free from the converter inlet/outlet
• The two safety pins on the stand are in place
Then follow these steps:
- Plug the power plug into the wall socket (if applicable)
- Set the main switch to "ON" or "I"
◦ A lamp will light up on the operator main switch
◦ The green lamp will light up on the cutter head
The converter is now ready for use.
