To avoid unpleasant odors inside the refrigerated counter, follow the best-by
indications on food products.
•
In the event of a power outage, do not open the door and drawers more than
necessary in order to avoid loss of cool air.
•
Following a power outage or removal of the device's plug from its socket, do
not connect it to a power source for at least 5 minutes.
•
If the device is to remain unused for a longer time, turn it off via the ON/OFF
switch and remove the plug from its socket.
6. Cleaning and maintenance
The device is not suited for direct washing with water jets. Therefore, you
must not use any kind of pressure water jet for cleaning the device!
Make sure no water gets into the device.
o Clean the refrigerated counter regularly.
o Disconnect the device from its socket by removing the plug.
o Clean the interior of the chambers and drawers with a disinfectant approved for food
service applications.
o Clean the exterior of the device with a soft, moist cloth, then dry thoroughly.
o Never use aggressive cleaning substances such as scouring powder, alcohol or
solvents that may damage the device's surface.
o After cleaning, dry the surface and polish it with a dry cloth.
If the device is to remain unused for a longer time:
remove the plug from its socket;
remove all food from inside the refrigerated counter;
clean the interior and exterior of the refrigerated counter with a moist cloth and
mild cleaning agent, then rinse the device with clean water and dry thoroughly;
leave the door and drawers open for a short time to allow the device to dry
thoroughly.
WARNING!
Before cleaning and maintenance, disconnect the device
from the power supply (pull the plug out of the socket!).
