At this stage, the fork with its headset and the frame
form a single subassembly. The rest of the mounting
allows setting the headset's functions and fixing the
steering station's elements (spacers composites,
stem...).
6 / Tighten the spacer on the thread insert and adjust the
headset so that there subsists no play and that the fork can freely rotate without any hard
point.
Once the spacer tightened, the pin is imprisoned and mechanically stops it from exiting.
Insert the two rubber caps to fill the gaps in the tube.
At this stage, the fork is mounted adjusted on the frame and the mounting of the other
elements can in no case modify the headset's
settings. There remains the mounting of the
stem at the desired position.
7 / if necessary place the spacer ring according
to the desired stem height

drill hole, and insert the pin through the hole. Make
sure it is well centred; it should not overlap the
thread insert so as not to restrict the spacer's
tightening.
