9. The Operating Modes for all Switches from the Con-
trol Family
Control-family switches have the following operating modes:
Run mode
Display mode
Programming mode
Reset mode
9.1

Switching on

• The control-family switch executes a self-test after it is turned on.
• The display and the switching point indicators light up.
Pressure switch
The nominal device pressure is displayed.
Temperature switch
The upper range value is displayed after the device is turned on.
Level switch
The sensor length is displayed after the device is turned on.
The outputs are not active during this time (two seconds).
