10. Use of the cup warmer

The use of cups that are not sufficiently heated when an espresso is pulled
may lead to the instantaneous loss of about 25-35 °C and a resulting lukewarm
espresso.
The cup warmer built into this machine is electrically powered and can be
switched on and off with the P4 button (Fig.3). Only the rear portion of the
cup warming tray heats up.
The inverted cup icon is displayed on the screen when the cup warmer is
switched on.
