7 – Charging battery
may only be charged using the
XR-DC 1000 mains adapter unit. The
mains adapter unit may only be
operated with a power supply that
has an alternating current of
200-240 V and a frequency of 50 Hz.
The use of any other mains adapter
units or the use of the XR-DC 1000
with another type of power supply
may lead to personal and property
damage.
Charging process (Fig. 3)
The rechargeable battery is not fully
charged on leaving the factory. Charge
the rechargeable battery before first use.
Withdraw rechargeable battery (5) from
the storage battery drill screwdriver
(Fig. 2). Connect charging unit (6) to the
power supply.
Put the rechargeable battery into the
charging bay (8). The charging progress
is displayed by the LED control lights of
the control panel (7):
• If no LED is lit: There is no battery in
