Dear customer,
please read this installation manual carefully before
installing the hood.
Damages based on installation not complying with
the directives given hereunder are not covered by
warranty terms.
Attention:
Installation must be done in conformity with your
national standards.

1. Delivery
Carefully unpack the unit on delivery and check
to ensure that no damage has been caused in
transit (follow the instructions on the packaging).
1.1 Observe the installation height. When assem-
bling unit and UV Plus it must be made sure,
that headroom underneath the front of the
UV Plus is at least 210 cm.
2. Before installing the UV Plus
2.1 The extractor UV Plus is supplied as standard for
appliances for doors which open from the right.
In the case of units with left-hand
opening the following procedure must be fol-
lowed:
- Remove the "front" cover plate of the
extractor UV Plus.
- Fit adapter plate supplied for left-hand
opening (pic. 1 item 1).
- Inside UVPlus, behind the fat filter, there is a
screw with gasket that closes the fixing hole
for units with left hinged doors.
Undo this screw and close the hole used for
units with right hinged doors.
2.2 Place the gasket adapter (pic 1. pos. 2) over
the vent pipe of the unit.
3. Installation of the UV Plus
Attention
Observe the weight of the units (approx. 98 kg).
Wear safety boots.
- Disconnect unit from mains, on which UV Plus
shall be installed
- Check door of the unit for correct adjustment
- Replace rear screw of the top door holding
plate by stud (item7) and washer.
- Carefully place the UV Plus onto the unit.
- Fasten UV Plus with screw and washer (item8)
to previous installed stud.
- Remove the left side panel of the unit.
