Equipotential bonding
Also on the rear side of the UV Plus there
is a stud for the equipotential bonding.
Integrate the UV Plus with a suitable cable
into the equipotential bonding system.
Observe on Combi-Duo:
Attention
UV Plus must not be installed on Combi Duo with
caster. Danger of tipping over!
- Connect the vent pipe of the Combi-Duo to the
connection piece of the UV Plus using hose
(item 10) and hose clamp (item 11) of the
UV Plus kit.
- Installation of the bus cable:
There are two bus cables connected to the con-
trol pcb. Use the longer cable for the bottom unit
and the shorter for top unit. Connect the cable
as described under point 4.
7. Technical intervention
Before any intervention or maintenance work,
disconnect the appliance from the power sup-
ply.
7.1 Fan motor.
Fan motor is accessible after removing the
fat filter and pre filter.
7.2 Changing halogen bulb.
After loosen the holding frame, the halogen bulb
can be changed.
7.3 Changing differential pressure switch of pre filter
- Set adjustment disc of pressure switch to zero
position
- Switch on Ultravent and unit
- Remove fat filter. On the pre filter cover
approx 2/3 of the surface of the filter with a
piece of paper.
- Rotate adjustment disc out of zero position
until LED of pre filter switches on.
- When removing the paper LED must switch of.
