ATTACH SHANK TO CARGO BASKET
• Remove shank from hitch and install onto the center section. Line up the holes in shank with the holes in
center section selected in step 4.
• Install two carriage bolts and lock nuts through holes in shank and center section as shown.
• Tighten all 3/8-16 GR5 carriage bolts to 31 ft•lb
IMPORTANT NOTE
If the Cargo Carrier or cargo blocks the license plate, you can mount the license plate directly to the back of
the cargo carrier using the two existing holes in the chrome support tubes. (screws not included)
LOADING
Load the Cargo Carrier so that most of the weight is in the center of the platform.
