2) Apply a little vegetable oil to the griddles
2/3/4.
NOTE
►
Excess fat or other fl uids will run into the fat
drip tray 6!
3) Place the food to be grilled on the appropriate
griddles 3/4:
–
Food that needs to be cooked on both sides
at the same time should be placed on the
lower griddle of the contact grill 3; then
close the lid so that the upper griddle of the
contact grill 2 is on top of the food.
NOTE
►
The hinges of the lid are designed especially
so that the lid adapts to the thickness of the
food to be grilled and lies fl at on top of the
food.
If the lid does not lie fl at on top of the food,
the food is too thick for the contact grill. In
this case, use the teppanyaki griddle 4.
–
Lay food that is too thick to be cooked
evenly in the contact grill on the teppanyaki
griddle 4 and turn it at regular intervals.
4) Remove the food from the griddles 3/4 with
the help of heat-resistant plastic or wooden
implements once it is ready.
5) Turn the thermostat 9 to "0".
6) Remove the plug from the mains power socket.
