If the differential device fails to trip, it can denote :
1. a defective differential device
2. a ground resistance that is too high
3. a sensitivity rating error
4. the neutral is not connected
5. neutral/ground inversion
6. ground not connected
7. the phase switch is in the neutral position
8. the network scheme is a "IT" configuration.
If the differential device does not ensure its tripping function, the phase tripping indicator
lamp will go out briefly proving that current has been transmitted.
The CATEX™ DT-150 electrical installation tester can be used on 2P+G 10/16 A power out-
lets on 230 V single-phase electrical circuits between phase and neutral.The neutral confi-
gurations accepted by CATEX™ DT-150 are "TT" and "TN" schemes. As far as the "IT"
scheme is concerned, conform with part 6 of the appendix to standard NFC 15-100 (1991).
