Valve terminal type CPA... has been designed exclusively
for controlling pneumatic actuators. In this respect the
specified limit values for pressures, temperatures, electri-
cal data, torques, etc. must be observed.
Detailed information on the pneumatics of the valve ter-
minal can be found in the Pneumatics Manual P.BE-CPA-....
Warning
S Use only power units which guarantee reliable
isolation of the operating voltages as per IEC 742/
EN 60742/VDE 0551 with at least 4 kV isolation
resistance (Protected Extra Low Voltage PELV).
Switch power packs are permitted, providing they
guarantee reliable isolation in accordance with
EN 60950/VDE 0805.
S Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (to avoid functional damage).
S Commission only a valve terminal which is completely
fitted and wired.
Caution
The components of the valve terminal contain electros-
tatically vulnerable elements. These components may
be damaged if you touch the contact surfaces of the
plug connectors or if the regualtions for handling elec-
trostatically vulnerable components are not observed.
