The CPX−EA modules are intended for use only in CPX
terminals. The I/O modules for CPX terminals each consist
of an electronic module which is fitted together with a
combinable sub−base in a manifold sub−base of the CPX
terminal.
The maximum values specified in the section Technical
specifications" must be observed during operation.

Warning
S Before carrying out installation and maintenance
work, switch off the following:
S Connect an earthing cable with sufficient cross−
sectional area to the connection on the CPX terminal
marked with the earth symbol.
S The I/O modules contain electrostatically sensitive
components. Do not therefore touch any contacts.
Observe the regulations for handling electrostatically
sensitive components.
Please note
Commission only a CPX terminal which has been fitted
and wired completely.
