5.1)
Customisation work specific to the unit under test
Customisation work specific to units under test consists of machined holes on the probe plate, the
pressure plate and the pressure frame plate. It may also include the addition of mechanical sys-
tems for lateral contacting, jigs for adjustment work on the unit under test, population with spring-
loaded test probes, retention clamps, and wiring. The necessary details can be found in the in-
cluded customisation diagram.
5.2)
Protective conductor connection
When hazardous voltage (> 25 VAC voltage and > 60 VDC voltage) is used, the test fixture may
be operated only when a protective conductor has been connected to the protective earth.
The replacement kit must be designed in such a way that tools with a diameter of > 2.5 mm are
unable to come into contact with live component parts. In addition, connections conducting voltage
into the interior must not be present if the interior contains live parts. Accordingly, the standard
replacement kit must be equipped with an additional cover plate as contact protection. This plate
is used to cover all of the screws in the pressure frame plate and seal off all machined holes pres-
ent.
