Possible cause
Battery not fully seated
Battery Charger (13) not powered
Battery not being fully charged
Battery has been charged over 100 times and
capacity has started to reduce
Trigger Lock (5) is engaged
Battery completely discharged
Defective Battery
Saw defective
Worn or incorrect blade
Material may be beyond the capabilities of the
saw with the fitted blade despite the blade
matching the material
There is a gap between the Shoe (1) and the
workpiece
The blade is bi-directional
The blade tooth pitch is too coarse
Solution
Refit battery correctly
Recheck mains connection
Wait until Green LED is illuminated
This is normal for batteries. Contact your Triton
dealer to purchase a replacement battery
Move Trigger Lock to the unlocked position
Recharge Battery or replace with a fully charged
battery
Replace Battery
Contact your Triton dealer or authorised service
centre
Replace blade
Replace blade with a finer tooth pitch blade to
reduce the load on the saw motor
Ensure there is no gap, see Fig. D
Use a uni-directional blade so it mainly cuts as it
pushes the material towards the Shoe (1)
Use a finer tooth pitch so less material is cut per
reciprocating action and smoother cutting
