Operation
Setting the rear vice jaw base (fig. I)
The rear vice jaw base has three snap-in points so as
to be able to adjust to various material dimensions.
The following settings are recommended for 0°
(90°), 15° and 30° cuts:
Material Ø
≤ 25 mm
≥ 25 mm
The right backgauge can be aligned from its rear
position.
Release the locking lever [1].
■
Press the knob [2] to unlock the jaw vice base.
■
Position the jaw vice base.
■
Tighten the locking lever.
■
Clamping the workpiece (fig. I/fig. II)
Place the workpiece between the clamping
■
plate [3a] and the rear vice jaw [3].
Tighten the tensioning device in a clockwise
■
direction using the locking lever [1].
Release the locking lever and set the rear vice
■
jaw of the vice to the required angle.
Note
The machine is equipped with an
adjustable counter bearing (fig. II) for
the sawing cut.
Setting the right backgauge (fig. III]
In order to extend the service life of the saw blade,
use the right backgauge as a stopper.
This will thus prevent chips getting into the protective
guard.
