Quick-clamp mechanism (fig. IV)
The machine boasts a quick-clamp mechanism for
workpieces of identical cross section.
Before clamping the first workpiece, turn the
■
tensioning lever [1] to the right.
Tension the workpiece using the clamp-in mecha-
■
nism [2].
To unclamp the workpiece, turn the tensioning
■
lever to the left.
To clamp in the next workpiece, turn the ten-
■
sioning lever to the right once again.
Sawing process
The machine can cut at an angle of 45–90°.
For 45°, release the equipment space guide. Set
■
the required angle and re-tighten the screw. Insert
the workpiece and firmly tighten the tensioning
device.
For 90°, place the workpiece between the
■
clamping plate and the equipment space guide.
Tighten the tensioning device in a clockwise
direction.
Sawing (Fig. VIII/IX)
To switch the machine on, press the safety
■
switch [1] together with the stop lever [2].
3 The handle can be moved downwards.
In order to reach the maximum operating
■
speed, let the motor run under no load for a few
seconds.
3 You can start sawing.
Saw slowly and evenly.
■
Note
The chip tray [3] collects up to 80% of
all the saw chippings.
To switch the machine off, lift the saw blade
■
from the workpiece using the handle, and let the
switch off. Only release the handle once the saw
blade has come to a complete stop.
