Fitting the Blades (Fig. 2)
fi
Use Lister or Wahl blades for the
best fit and performance.
Blades are manufactured in pairs,
pl
they must be kept and used in pairs
to increase their life.
hr
1. Disconnect from power source.
sk
2. Turn the clipper upside-down and
carefully fit top blade to the clipper head.
The crank roller must be located in the
hu
socket of the top blade.
3. Fit the bottom blade, ensuring the 2
ro
holes are fitted over the 2 pegs.
4. Insert the tension bolt through the
central hole.
el
5. Fit the tension spring over the tension
bolt, and screw the tension nut down
ru
tight.
6. Set the "Tension" (see below).

Setting the Tension (Fig. 3)
1. Screw the tension nut down by hand
until it stops (4A).
2. Using the marker on the tension nut as
a guide, slacken the tension nut back off
by 1 1/2 turns to set the tension.
Warning! Injuries and material
damage due to incorrect tension.
f Excessive tension will blunt and
overheat the blades.
f Insufficient tension will reduce
cutting performance and lead to
clogged blades.
Lubrication (Fig. 4)
f Brush excess hair from the blades and
clipper.
f Oil the blades every 5-10 minutes when
clipping, use "R15" oil. Briefly run the
appliance to spread the oil, then switch-
off and wipe away any excess oil.
1. Oil between the cutter points, pointing
the head upwards to spread the oil
between the blades.
2. Oil the surfaces between the clipper
head and the top blade.
3. Oil the cutter blade guide channel from
both sides or via the two holes, tilting the
head sideways to spread the oil.
4. Oil the heel of the cutter blade from
both sides, tilting the head sideways to
spread oil over the rear blade surfaces.
5. Oil the crank shaft and roller via the
central hole.
Warning! Injuries and material
damage due to incorrect oiling.
f Oil the blades frequently.
f Only use "R15" oil. Other
lubricants may cause irritation to
the animal's skin.
f Aerosol spray lubricants contain
solvents that may damage the
appliance or blades.
