Replace every worn or damaged part
so the machine can operate safely,
continuously and with no issues.
Cleaning:
Keep this tool clean and dry, free from
oil, lubricants or grease. The machine
must be carefully cleaned after each
use.
Do not use aggressive cleaning
products. These products may damage
plastics and metals, compromising the
safe operation of the machine.
Maintenance:
Only maintenance works described in
this instruction manual may be carried
out; all other works must be performed
by an official distributor.
Use only VITO-approved discs for this
machine or technically identical parts.
Not doing so may result in personal
injuries or damages to the machine. In
case of doubt, you should contact an
official distributor.
2.6 - TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE
This machine must be repaired only by
the brand official technical service or
by qualified technicians and only with
original replacement parts.
3. ASSEMBLY
INSTRUCTIONS
3.1 - BATTERY ASSEMBLY
(FIG. B)
1. Insert the battery (21) in the fitting
placed on the handle (8) and press it
until listen to a "click" of the locking/
unlocking button (22). After this, the
battery is correctly placed;
2. To remove it, press the locking/
unlocking button and pull the battery;
For better results, make sure the
battery is fully charged before
using it.
3.2 - ROTATION SHAFT LOCK
(FIG. C)
Never press the rotation shaft
lock while operating the saw.
Otherwise, it can damage the machine;
1. Press the locking button (18) to
prevent the shaft from rotating when
placing or removing the blade (1);
2. To release the rotation shaft, loosen
the locking button;
3.3 - DISCS ASSEMBLY
AND CHANGE (FIG. D)
Wear protective gloves while
mounting the disc;
1. Remove the battery (21);
2. Press the rotation shaft locking
button (18) and spin the disc (1) until
it locks;
3. Untighten the disc's fixing screw (3)
with the supplied hex key;
4. Remove the screw and the fixing
flange (3);
5. Pull the disc bottom protection
retracting lever and remove it (5);
6. Place the new disc over the backing
flange, in the direction represented on
the disc and on the disc protection;
7. Release the blade bottom protection
retracting lever (4);
8. Place the flange and tighten the disc
fixing screw in the rotation shaft;
9. Press the locking button and tighten
the fixing screw;
10. Insert the battery;
11. Test it at full speed to check the
disc's assembly;
3.4 - PARALLEL GUIDE
ASSEMBLY (FIG. E)
1. Untighten the parallel guide fixing
screw (14);
2. Insert the guide scale (15) into the
supporting base hole (2);
3. Tighten the fixing screw;
3.5 - CONNECTING THE
CIRCULAR SAW TO A
VACUUMING SYSTEM (FIG. F)
This machine is supplied with an
adapter for vacuuming devices.
1. Insert the vacuum cleaner accessory
in the adapter for vacuuming devices
(6);
2. Insert the vacuum cleaner hose into
the tools connection accessory;
3. Always connect the vacuum cleaner
before starting the circular saw;
4. OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
When operating the equipment, some
precautions must be considered:
� Keep both hands away from the blades
and the cutting area once the disc may
revert over the hands and cause serious
damages. Always hold the machine
with both hands while operating it;
� Never hold the cutting piece with the
hands nor place it over the legs. Put it
over a stable surface. It is important that
the work piece is well fixed to minimise
the risk of a kickback and control loss;
� Do not put any objects under the work
piece. Under it, the saw protection may
not protect it from the blade;
� When cutting wood lengthwise,
always use a guide. This improves
the accuracy of cut and reduces the
probabilities of locking the blade;
