Important fitting information

Please note: Order the following, depending on the equipment
specification:
Aerial for the virtual pedal
Retaining clip
Virtual pedal control unit retainer
PDC sensor retainer
PDC/PLA sensor retainer
Please note: If there is no virtual pedal in the vehicle, remove the
cable ties from the adhered retaining clips.
Please note: The vehicle must be completely clean before the compo-
nent can be adhered.
Caution: When adhering the component, ensure that the work area is
adequately ventilated – the cleaning agents contain dangerous
fumes.
Fitting procedure

› First, remove the rear bumper from the vehicle. Then remove the existing bumper bottom
section, the virtual pedal control unit, the PDC/PLA sensors and wiring harnesses (if fitted)
in accordance with the instructions in the ŠKODA Repair Manual.

Only for vehicles with a virtual pedal
› Thoroughly wash the areas indicated on the spoiler with mild soapy water and rinse them
with clean water. Then clean and degrease these areas with Terostat 8550 cleaning agent.
Leave to dry for 10 minutes.
Please note: For vehicles not fitted with a tow bar, ensure that the
lower aerial is in exactly the right position (see section A-A in the
detail in fig. 11).
For vehicles fitted with a tow bar, ensure that the lower aerial is in
exactly the right position (see section A-A in the detail in fig. 12).
