2 - TROUBLESHOOTING
2.1
error de detection
It can take up to 30 seconds before an error can be detected and displayed. All the errors must
be displayed on each controller before they can be corrected.
If an error is detected, an error message will alternate with the main display every few seconds,
and the status LED light will be red.
During an error condition, the unit continues to monitor flow and update the remaining capacity.
Once an error condition is corrected, the unit returns to the operating status it was in prior to the
error, and regeneration resumes according to normal programming. If an error is cleared by
reprogramming the unit in the Master Programming Mode, the volume remaining may be reset
to the full unit capacitiy ( as though it had just regenerated). If an error is present, a regeneration
can only occur manually by pressing and holding the Regeneration button for 5 seconds. If the
unit was in regeneration when the error occurred, it will complete the regeneration cycle and go
to service.
When the problem is corrected, and the error no longer displays (it may take several seconds for
the unit to stop displaying the error message), the unit will return to normal operation. The status
LED light will no longer be Red, and will turn Green if the unit is regenerating, or Blue if the unit
is in service.
One or more valves have a bad or no communication.
One or more valves have the cable wrongly connected.
One or more valves programmed as single valve
simplex #4 and one or more valves programmed
as multivalve systems #5, #6, #7 or #9.
All the valves are programmed in lag (positions 2,3,4).
No valve programmed in lead (position 1)
so no unit starts the communication.
programming error
2.2
If reprogramming the unit clears the error, the remaining volume may be reset to full unit
capacity (as though it had just regenerated).
- All the units in service remain in service.
- All the units in standby go to service.
- When the error appears, the unit in regeneration finishes the regeneration and goes to service.
- No regeneration will start while the error condition remains.
When the programming problem is corrected and the error no longer displays (it may take
several seconds for all the units of the system to stop displaying the error), the system will return
to normal operation.

CAUSE
SOLUTION
Connect communication cables.
Connect the cables correctly following the diagram.
