important to assembling the staircase correctly.
21. Tighten element B03 in a permanent manner (fig. 8).
22. Only tighten element B02 from the lower tread (fig. 2).
23. Check the verticality of the balusters (C03) again and correct, repeating the operations described above if
necessary.
24. Position the first baluster (C03). Adjust the height of a long baluster (C67) cutting the end to the same height as
those already assembled (fig. 1).
25. Taking the railing from the starting side, secure element F34 to the floor next to the first baluster (C81) and drill
with a Ø 8 mm point. Use elements C58, B12, B83, B02. Warning: baluster C81 must be secured to the tread
using element C72 assembled on the tread (determine the position of the holes using the template provided for
elements C71).
On the other hand, if there is no railing on the starting side, secure the following to the floor near the first
baluster (C03): element F01, and drill using an Ø 8 mm point. Use elements C58, B12, B83 and B02 (fig. 1).
26. Start from the baluster (C03) on the landing (E02) and begin by securing the handrail (A14). Use elements C64
with the screwer. Warning: position the seam of the coating on the handrail toward the bottom.
27. Join the other segments of the handrail (A14) tightening and gluing them one after the other with articles B33
and D72. Cut the handrail (A14) near the corner treads and use the corner joints A15, articles C64 and the
glue X01. For a homogeneous handrail, bend the final part of the handrail until it joins with the last part of the
previous handrail (fig. 9) (fig. 1 detailed box).
28. Saw off the excess handrail next to the first (C03) baluster of the staircase using a hacksaw.
29. Complete the handrail (A14) by securing element A12 using elements C64 and the glue (X01) (fig. 1) (fig. 9).
30. Cut all the other balusters to measure. Insert the cut balusters into elements C71 and secure with articles B02.
Secure to the handrail using articles C64 and a screwer. We recommend assembling the shorter balusters first.
31. Check the linearity of the handrail (A14) and correct using a rubber hammer, if necessary.
32. Complete railing assembly by inserting elements B82 into the lower part of the balusters C03 (fig. 1).
Assembling the railing on the landing and the supplementary balustrade
33. Assemble column (C04) to element G01 protruding from the landing (E02) (fig. 8) (fig. 9) (fig. 1).
34. Position elements F01, using elements C58, B83, B02 on the landing (E02). Drill the landing (E02) using a
Ø 5 mm point, maintaining the same centre to centre distance between the holes as the one used between the
balusters (C03) of the railings assembled before.
35. Position the shorter balusters (C03) and tighten elements B02 from the articles F01(fig. 1).
36. Secure element A15 to column (C04) using element B02 (fig. 1).
37. Secure the handrail (A14) using elements C64 (fig. 1).
38. Based on the position and the existence of walls around the opening of the staircase, one or two (C03) extra
balusters may need to be positioned (fig. 9).
39. In this case, consider a space equidistant from the other balusters or from the wall. To secure these, we
recommend drilling the landing (E02) with a Ø 5 mm point and using elements F01, C58, B83, B02. We also
recommend drilling the floor with a Ø 14 mm point and using elements F01, B02, B13 (fig. 10). If necessary,
secure the balustrade on the landing to the balustrade on the floor, (fig. 9), model the handrails carefully,
following well secured curves. Any wrinkles that form on the inside of the handrails are not a defect, rub
energetically (generating heat) with a paper tower or using a blow dryer at 5-6 cm distance until they disappear.
Final Assembly
40. To further stiffen the staircase at intermediate points, secure elements F09 to the wall and join using elements
F08, with the balusters (C03). Drill using a Ø 8 mm point and use elements C50, C49, C58, B12 (fig. 11).
