4 oz Italian Sausage
3 oz Peppadews, rinsed, finely chopped
2 Tbsp Oregano, finely chopped
½ Tsp Sweet paprika
1 Puff pastry sheet, thawed,
rolled to approx. 10 inch x 15 inch
All-purpose flour, for dusting
1 Egg, beaten
3 Tbsp Pistachios, unsalted, finely chopped
Italian Sausage boats
1. Combine the Italian sausage, peppadews,
oregano and paprika.
2. Cut out the dough and fill (see p. 6). Place
the boats on a tray lined with parchment
paper, brush with egg, sprinkle them with
pistachio.
3. Baking: approx. 18 min. on the middle rack
of the oven; preheated to 400°F. Remove
from oven and cool on a wire rack.
Tip: Replace Peppadews with Piquillo peppers.
