If the upper and
lower portions of
the new check
valve (PJDI026)
are separated,
reassemble by
pushing upper
portion into lower
one.
5.
Unscrew conical
nut (PDI381),
remove anti-lock
ring (P189).
Unscrew adjust-
ing nut (PDI383).
Remove the
injection stem
(PDI378U2)
from the top
of the injection
sleeve (PDI390).
Replace injec-
tion stem o-ring
(JDI068) and
injection sleeve
o-ring (JDI074).

Injection seal
We recommend cleaning all parts with warm
soapy water and a toothbrush before
installing the new parts.
Water normally lubricates the parts, but you
may use silicone on the o-ring to facilitate
insertion.
Check valve may be taken apart and
cleaned in between maintenance to remove
particles.
CAUTION: Parts may contain
STOP
concentrated chemicals. The use of
Proper Protective Equipment is recom-
mended when performing maintenance.

With the help of
needle nose
PJDI026
pliers, unscrew the
top retainer nut
(PDI377) from the
top of the injection
stem (PDI378U2).
Carefully, using a
flat screwdriver, (DO

NOT SCRATCH
INJECTION STEM)
remove the top seal
PDI378U2
retainer (PDI039).
Replace the injection
seal (JDI011) mak-
ing sure the raised
JDI074
part faces up. Reinsert the top seal
retainer (PDI039) making sure the
thicker raised part faces up. With the
PDI390
help of needle nose pliers, screw the
top retaining nut (PDI377) back onto
the injection stem and hand tighten.

Insert the check valve assembly

(PJDI026) inside the injection stem
P189 assembly and tighten the check
valve nut (PDI036).

Don't forget to reset your
injection rate to the proper
ratio.
Instructions
(Parts included in kit noted in blue)
1.
Unscrew the
suction hose nut
(PDI038) and
remove suction
hose.
2.
Unscrew
retaining nut
(PDI245)
and pull out
injection stem
assembly
(CDDI048).
3. Unscrew check
valve nut
(PDI036), remove
check valve as-
sembly (PJDI026)
from injection
stem assembly
by grasping and
pulling the check
barb assembly
(PJDI062) straight
down. Do not twist.
7. Reinsert the
injection stem
(PDI378U2) into
the top of the
injection sleeve
(PDI390), mak-
ing sure the long
groove of the
injection stem
aligns with the
tooth inside.
If the retaining nut
(PDI245) is off the
sleeve (PDI390)
slide it back up.
Screw the adjust-
ing nut (PDI383)
onto the injection
sleeve (PDI390)
until it reaches
the top of the scale. Reinstall
the anti-lock ring (P189) and the
conical nut (PDI381).
9.
Reinsert the injection stem assembly
(CDDI048) into the body and tighten
retaining nut (PDI245). Slide suction
hose nut (PDI038) onto the suction
hose, reattach suction hose onto the
check valve barb and tighten the suc-
tion hose nut (PDI038).
