Controller support for Estro
4. Pass the cables through the slot in the support and fasten the support and
controller together using the two screws provided. (Figure 20 shows how the
controller and support should be assembled if the controller is installed on the
right side of the fan coil unit: if the controller is installed on the left side of the
fan coil unit, the support will have to be turned by 180°).

5. Make the electrical connections according to the diagrams provided in this manual
(remove any connection cable for valve and heating element where these devices
are not present).
6. Once the electrical connections have been made, before completing installation
of the controller it is recommended to carry out the self-diagnosis procedure to
check whether all outputs are functioning correctly (fan at the different speeds
and valves where present): Refer to the relevant section in this manual.
7. Fit the controller-support assembly to the fan coil unit using the bayonet couplings
(Fig. 21).

INSTALLATION OF WALL-MOUNTED CONTROLLER
NB: for wall mounting of the controller it is advisable to use an electric box behind the
controller to accommodate the cables.
NB: Prior to installation, carefully remove the protective film from the display; removal
of the film may cause some dark streaks to appear on the display but these will
SUPPORT
disappear after a few seconds and are not signs of a controller defect.
Instructions for wall mounting
1. Remove the fastening screw of the controller (figure 29).
PRE-CUT TABS
2. If a 503 electrical enclosure is used, pass the cables through the slot at the bottom
of the controller and use the holes provided for fastening (figure 30).
3. Otherwise, in the wall where you wish to mount the controller, drill holes to match
up with the fastening slots (5x8mm) on the base of the controller; pass the cables
through the slot on the base and screw it to the wall (previously drilled) (figure
31).
4. Make the electrical connections to the indoor unit terminal block as per the wiring
diagram.
5. Close the controller box and fix with the screw removed as described at point 1.
AIR SENSOR INSTALLATION
The air sensor is included in the installation kit and is necessary only for the installation
of the controller on the unit.
WARNING:
To prevent disturbance and consequent malfunctions, make sure that the sensor
cables are NOT situated in proximity to power lines (230V).
Should an extension be necessary, use a shielded cable to be connected to ground
only on the controller side.
FLAT – 2x1
Instructions for installation:
