DETAILED SAFETY CONDITIONS
1. The scale should be placed on hard, level surface.
2. The scale should stand still while weighing. This is to ensure optimal measurement accuracy and
repeatability.
3. Remove the battery if the scale will not be used for longer time.
4. The scale should not be placed near devices that emit strong electromagnetic field or near heat sources,
such as stoves, ovens, burners.
5. Do not expose the scale to shocks and extreme operating conditions, as this may impede the measurement
accuracy.
6. Displayed nutritional values of products are based on standard statistics. Actual nutritional values of weighed
product may differ slightly from the displayed value, because of specific product ingredients or specific storage
conditions.
7. Do not use for commercial or medical purposes.
8. The scale thermometer is intended to measure indoor temperature.

1A- weighing platform;
1B – numeric keypad;
1C – LCD display;
1D – function keypad.
Numeric keypad (1B):
0 - 9 – numeric keys used to input product code or to set alarm timer;
M+ - used to add nutritional value of weighed product to the scale memory. It is possible to memorize up to 99
items.
MR – used to recall total nutritional value of products stored in memory. LCD display (1C):
Displayed values are shown on fig. C, where:
a – memory;
b – timer/temperature;
c – product weight value;
d – product code;

Function keypad (1D):
ON/OFF – used to switch device on/off; ZERO - tare;
T-SET – alarm timer set button;
g/oz/WT – used to change mass unit in weighing mode, and to return to weight display mode while in nutritional
value display mode;
CLR/MC – used to erase product code information and to erase memory;
KCAL/SOD/PROT/FAT/CARB/CHOL/FIBR – buttons used to choose nutritional value information.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT (fig 2)
Open battery compartment on the bottom of the scale. Insert 2 x 1,5V LR03 (AAA) battery, paying attention to
correct polarity.
WEIGHING
1. Switch the scale on using ON/OFF button on functional keypad (1D). Wait until display (1C) shows "0".
2. Put the product on the tray, read the weight on the display.
