Radiator location and connection

Location:
To gain the full benefit of your appliance and enjoy the highest standards of
comfort we advise you to:
• install the appliance near places of high heat loss wherever possible (windows,
doors, etc.),
• ensure that an area of about 50 cm in front of the radiator is clear of objects
which might hinder air circulation (furniture, armchairs, etc.),
• position the bottom of the control unit at least 10 cm from the ground.
• This appliance cannot be installed under a plug.
Connection:
The specifications for your Acova radiator are shown on the technical label at
the bottom of the appliance next to the control unit (see cover diagram no. 1).
You should note these down before calling out an After-Sales technician.
Connection to the electrical supply must be done in accordance with:
• the voltage indicated on this label
• conventional colour coding
Pilot wire class-II appliance for connection to a programming unit (optional) :
Brown : live, Blue or grey : neutral, Black : pilot wire.
If the power cable is damaged it should be replaced by a special cable installed
by a skilled professional.
The original flexible cord is designed for connection to the electrical supply via
a connection box placed behind the appliance, with no need for a plug.
In a kitchen or bathroom, the connection box should be placed at least 25 cm
above ground.

This is a class-II appliance. It is protected against water spray and can be
installed in bathrooms on condition that the installation complies with the
standards in force and industry practice in the country concerned.
