OPERATION
INTENDED USE
This chain saw is intended for use to cut wood pieces,
trees and wooden logs in domestic use.
Do not use for any task other than those specified in the
chapter 'INTENDED USE'. Furthermore, this product is
not intended to be used for professional tree services.
RESIDUAL RISKS:
Even with the intended use of the appliance there is
always a residual risk, which can not prevent. According
to the type and construction of the appliance the following
potential hazards might apply:
Contact with exposed saw teeth of the saw chain

BEFORE EACH USE
CHECKING THE CHAIN TENSION (Fig. 2)
Warning:
Always disconnect the chain saw from the
mains power supply before checking the chain
tensioning or making adjustments to the chain.
Wear protective gloves while touching the chain,
bar or areas around the chain.
Pull the chain in the middle of the bar on the lower
side of the bar away from the bar. The gap between

CHECKING THE CHAIN LUBRICANT
Check the amount of oil in the chain saw by looking
at the oil level gauge (12). If the oil level is in the
lower third of the oil level gauge, follow the steps in
in this manual.

Before each use, check the function of the
chainbrake.

Check the chain tension before each use of the
saw.
Warning:
Never operate the chain saw without sufficient
chain lubrication as this might damage the
saw and is a threat to safety. Check the chain
lubricant level before each use!

Before plugging in, check the mains voltage and
frequency to make sure that they match the
chain saw's specification.
