Transportation
It is necessary to drain off the oil for transportation.
1. Insert a short pipe and close the chuck firmly.
2. Grip the pipe with the cutter for fixing the carriage,
and carry according to the diagram below.

Setting up
1. Mount the legs. Ensure that they have been
properly inserted in their housing and fixed using
screws.
2. When setting up the machine, the legs should be
adjusted ensuring that the rear chuck is higher
than the hammer chuck so that oil does not flow
back down the pipe being threaded.

3. Add Rothenberger threading oil (the threading
result cannot be guaranteed if using any other
oil).
4. Remove the swarf tray and check that the oil level
adequately covers the filter.
5. Mount the tank upper cover in the correct
position.

6. Fit the die head in the machine.Mount the die head
post to the carriage housing and while moving the
die head, push it until it makes contact with the
carriage.
7. Loosen the jamming handle by unscrewing until it
no longer exerts pressure on the chuck.
8. Move the lever in an anticlockwise direction until
opened to the maximum.
9. Mount the chasers with the slot towards the
jamming handle and each one in its position. Ensure
that the position number coincides with the chaser
number.
Insert it until noting that the check ball enters the
chaser housing (a small click).

10. Lower the die head and push into (1) until it is fixed
with the locking shaft whilst checking that it is
correctly mounted.
11. Move the jamming handle (1) to the desired
threading size. Check that the chaser corresponds
to the thread. Tighten the jamming handle by
rotating clockwise until it is locked in position.
