3.3 Choosing a Location

Select the right setup location:
− Set up the device on a stable, even surface that is not exposed
to vibrations (e.g., a weighing stone).
− Maintain free access to the device at all times.
Choose a location that is not subject to the following negative
influences:
− Heat (heater or direct sunlight)
− Drafts from open windows, AC systems and doors
− Vibrations during weighing
− Heavy traffic areas (personnel)
− Excessive moisture
− Electromagnetic fields
− Extremely dry air
Inserting the side panels:
− Mount the guide carriages (1)
of the side panel by inserting
them into the guide rails on
the top.
− Insert the side panel at the
bottom behind the guide rod (2)
of the draft shield.
Make sure that:
− the guide carriage (1) is
properly and fully positioned on
the guide rail.
− the side panels are positioned
behind the guide rod (2).
− the panels can be moved
smoothly and freely.
Inserting the upper panel:
− Insert the top panel on the top
of the draft shield guide.
− Push the panel carefully
backwards.
− Gently lift the panel by its grip in
order to push it below the guide
rod (3) of the guide.
Close the cover by folding it down-
wards completely until it locks.
Insert the weighing pan into the
opening of the collection container.
Push the upper and side panels
forward to close them.

Position one of the two shield disks
(1 or 2) on the collection container.
Insert the weighing pan (3) into the
opening of the collection container.
Push the upper and side panels
forward to close them.
Acclimatization
Condensation from humidity can form on the surfaces of a
cold device when it is brought into a substantially warmer area.
You should therefore let a device that has been disconnected from
its power source acclimatize for approximately 2 hours before
reconnecting it to the power.

3.4 AC Power Supply

AC Adaptor Assembly
Fatal electric shocks can be caused by use of the
incorrect power plug adapter or improper use of
the power plug adapter.
Attach the country-specific power plug adapter

to the AC adapter. The power plug adapter must
be suitable for the wall outlet at the installation
location.
Do not insert the power plug adapter into the

socket without an AC adapter.

Check that the power plug adapter

is firmly locked in place. To do this,
gently pull on the power plug
adapter.

moved then it is locked in place.
