PROCEDURE
- Remove the screw that tightens the joint in order to release it.
- Select the correct guide pins, based on the size of the joint
tightening screw that was just removed.
- Select the correct retractor(s) (for aluminium or steel) depending
on the material the joint is made of.
- Pre-assemble the tool, either for the single or the double retractor
.
- Place the tool on the joint and slide the guide pins, first inside the
side columns and then inside the joint's holes.
- Fix the tool in the position shown, using the 3 mm hexagonal
wrench.
- Turn the screw(s) using the appropriate wrenches until the joint is
open.
