Continuous light values can be set using the remote control's
programming function.
6 • SETTINGS
GB
Dip switch (Fig. 5)
DIP switch 1: "RC" protection against tampering
The switch is set to "RC" in the factory settings. The device can be
unreservedly operated by remote control. If the switch is set to "30
min./RC", after the warmup phase, the device can be remotely
controlled for 30 minutes. Each time a button is pressed on the remote
control, the 30 minutes restart. Once this time expires, commands
from the remote control will be blocked to prevent tampering. This is
indicated by 3 flashes of the blue mode LED. By removing the sensor and
replacing it again or by briefly switching the power off and on again,
the 30 minutes will start again.
DIP switch 2: Burning-in fluorescent lamps
To retain their maximum service life, fluorescent lamps must first be
burned in with 100 % luminous efficiency in DIM mode. The function
is disabled in the factory settings. If the switch is set to "ON", a burnin
time with 100 % luminous efficiency and lasting 100 hours begins
according to IEC60081/IEC60901, regardless of motion or the
ambient light value. This is indicated by the red and green LEDs flashing
rapidly at the same time. Once the time has expired, the presence
detector will operate according to its default settings. To start the
function again, after replacing the fluorescent lamp, press the remote
control's "Light ON" button during a warmup phase.

DIP switch 3: Selecting the factory settings
In the factory settings, factory setting P1 is activated. If the switch is set to
P2, factory setting P2 is activated. For an overview of the factory settings,
see Activation section.
DIP switch 4: Sensitivity adjustment
In the factory settings, maximum sensitivity is set to "S-max." If the
switch is set to "S-min.", sensitivity will be reduced. The setting is
recommended if undesired switching occurs due to interference
sources, such as hot air streams.
7 • FUNCTIONS
Fully automatic mode
Depending on the preset light value and detection of movement, light
channels 1 + 2 switch on automatically. They remain on for as long as
movement is detected and as long as the ambient light value does not
exceed the respective target value.
HVAC channel C3 is switched on regardless of the ambient light value, but
depending on detected movement. If movement is no longer detected,
the time settings for the respective channels start. As an option, each
channel can be manually switched on/off using buttons S1 – S3. Fully
automatic mode is preset.
Semi-automatic mode light channel C1 + C2
Manual light activation using button S1, no automatic activation. If
the ambient lighting level is darker than the set target value, the light
channels are controlled according to the preset target value. They
remain on for as long as movement is detected and for as long as the
ambient light value does not exceed the respective target value.
