MULTI LANGUAGE INSTALLATION
In the root you will only see the following folders and file.
\PIDE
\RAID
Txtsetup.oem
2.2 BIOS settings of your computer
•
In the BIOS, you have to set the first boot device to 'CD-ROM' (Please refer the
manual of your main board how to set the first 'Boot' device)

Be sure that the hard disk is connected well to the CSATACOMBO card and the power
supply of the computer.

2.3 Windows Installation

2.3.1 Windows 2000 and XP:
1. Boot your computer from the CD-ROM.
2. Setup will load the files for the setup.
3. Insert the floppy disk into the floppy drive.
4. During this process you will see an option to load extra drivers. You have to press "F6"
to use this option.
5. The setup will just continue preparing the installation.
6. When done, you will get a message to load extra drivers.
7. Press "S" (S = Specify Additional Device)
8. Press <Enter> to continue. (ENTER = Continue)
9. Windows will search for drivers on the floppy disk. When found, select "VIA RAID
Controller (Windows 2000)" or "VIA RAID Controller (Windows XP)", depending on the
operating system.
10. Press <Enter> to continue. (ENTER = Continue)
11. Windows will continue loading the installation files.
12. Leave the floppy disk in the floppy drive.
13. To continue, follow the instructions on your screen.
2.3.2. Windows 2003 only:
1. Boot from CD-ROM and insert the floppy disk into your floppy drive.
2. During the installation the driver will be automatically found and installed.
Follow the instructions on your screen.
