Valve
Equipped with a closing cap (Res-q-Matt closing cap), this is the element

through which the vacuum is carried out and which must be closed in order
to maintain the level of pressurisation obtained.
Wooden inserts
Made of wood, they stiffen the support and limit the shrinkage of the

mattress when in a vacuum.
Handles

Made from additional PVC fabric under the mattress, they are made from a
cord around which the PVC fabric is wrapped.
"Hook and loop" coupling closure
Made with Hook and loop inserts, it joins the two parts of the Combimatt

mattress. The mattress (No.8) is inserted between the two coupled parts.

COMMISSIONING

For first use, check that:
• Packaging is intact and has protected the device during transportation

• Check that all parts included in the packing list are present
• General functionality of the device
• Product cleanliness
• Absence of cuts, holes, tears or abrasions on the entire device
• If the mattress model in use is the Res-q-matt, the adapter supplied with the mattress must be fitted to the pump tube prior

to operation. This is done by squeezing the end of the pump tube as much as possible and then inserting the end of the pump
tube into the adapter tube fitting. The adapter tube will be the one that will need to be connected to the mattress valve
during use. Do not operate the mattress if this has not been done or if the connection is not stable.
See paragraph 10 for how to carry out the above-mentioned checks.

Do not modify the device or its parts for any reason as this could cause damage to the patient and/or rescuers.
Failure to take the above measures will preclude safe use of the device, resulting in risk of damage to the patient, operators and the device itself.
For subsequent use, perform the operations specified in paragraph 11.
If the above conditions are met, the device may be considered ready for use; otherwise, you must immediately remove the device from service and contact the Manufacturer.
Do not alter or modify the device arbitrarily, as doing so could result in unpredictable operation and damage to the patient or rescuers and will void the warranty and
release the Manufacturer from all liability.

10. PROPER USE

Primary medical evaluations must be carried out before intervening on the patient.

Where present, these are slots cut into the PVC fabric that allow the belts to

Removable mattress in PE
Made of polyethylene foam, this is only available in Combimatt and is

inserted between the vacuum mattress and the additional PVC fabric on
which the carrying handles are made.
Rubber sleeves

These cover some sectors of the perimeter cord allowing them to be used
as lifting handles.
Perimeter cord
Made of polypropylene, this allows the mattress to be grasped for lifting

at the sleeves and allows better application of the belts in the remaining
portions.
