Saving images and video clips

To save images or video clips in X-Porte Desktop, you
must configure the Save Image and Save Video
Clip controls as custom controls. If you want to save
calculations with images, you must also configure
Save Image & Calcs as a custom control. See "To
configure custom controls" in X-Porte Help or in the
X-Porte User Guide.
The system stops image and video clip acquisition in
the following circumstances:
When you view a visual guide on X-Porte
Desktop, or when you are in a form, such as the
patient form or worksheets, the system stops
acquisition.
The system stops video clip acquisition when you
switch from the clinical display to the control
panel display.

System messages and alerts

System messages and alerts appear on the right side
of both the control panel display and the clinical
display.

Video clip controls

Video clip controls (see "Saving" and "Reviewing" in
X-Porte Help or in the X-Porte User Guide) appear on
the control panel display or on the clinical display:
Video clip controls in the cine buffer appear on
the control panel display.
Video clip controls in Review appear on both the
clinical display and the control panel display.
Video clip controls that appear if you select
Preview Video Clip in Video Clip Settings
appear on the control panel display.

Using the system with the
stand
You can insert the ultrasound engine into the
X-Porte stand if desired.
To insert the engine into the stand
1 Turn off the ultrasound engine and then turn off
the isolation transformer.
2 Disconnect any devices attached to the
ultrasound engine (such as USB memory sticks,
ECG cables, mouse, ethernet cables, transducers,
power cables, or digital video cables).
3 Place the front edge of the engine into the stand
head just beneath the two metal retaining tabs at
the front edge of the stand head.

4 Push down firmly on the top back edge of the
engine until you hear the stand's latches engage.
