Applying Cuff to Patient
Before applying to a patient, read and understand all Warnings in the
Instructions for Use for both your NIBP monitor and cuffs.
1. Select a cuff appropriate for the limb circumference. Size ranges are
printed on each cuff and listed below:

2. Place open cuff to arm (or thigh) such that the side with the Philips logo
is away from the patient. Align arrow ( ) labeled Arteria to the
brachial (or femoral) artery (see figure). Ensure the side with the
warning label ( ) is toward the patient.
3. Wrap cuff snugly around arm or thigh. Ensure that the index edge falls
within the range indicated by the range arrow, then fasten.
