During normal use of the appliance, scale residue may build up inside the water tank which can compromise the
performance and damage the appliance over time. To remove the scale from the bottom of the tank, check that
the bottle warmer is cold, make a solution of water and white vinegar, in equal parts, and pour into the tank;
leave to soak overnight.
Never switch the bottle warmer ON when the tank is being soaked in the water-white vinegar mix. On complet-
ing the descaling cycle, rinse the inside of the tank thoroughly; then wash and dry the inside and outside of the
appliance. Fill the bottle warmer tank with 140 ml of water and complete an idle empty cycle. When the green
pilot light comes ON, switch the appliance OFF, leave to cool down and then remove any water left inside and
dry thoroughly.
Use a soft damp cloth to clean the external parts of the appliance.
In order to avoid the formation of scale residues, it is necessary to frequently clean the water tank, at least once
a week, or more often if the water used has a high limestone content.
Do not use tools, abrasive products, harsh detergents, alcohol, solvents or similar products when cleaning the
appliance, which may cause permanent damage to the bottle warmer and/or its accessories.
WARNING
- Never place the bottle warmer directly under a running water tap, and never submerge the appliance, the plug
or the power cable in water or any other liquid.
- Never place the bottle warmer in the dish-washer.
