of the selector knob, plus the type and size of the containers (plastic feeding bottles, glass feeding bottles, jars
of baby food).
- Never move the bottle warmer when in use or when it still contains hot liquids.
- Never use the bottle warmer when the car is in motion, use it only when the car is at a standstill.
- When the appliance has been running non-stop for 60 minutes, it will automatically switch off, allow it to cool
down completely, (disconnect it from the mains) before using it again.
- To disconnect the bottle warmer from the mains, turn the knob to the 'O' position and disconnect the power
cable plug from the mains socket. Do not pull the power cable or the appliance to unplug the appliance from
the mains.
- Check that the power cable is always unplugged from the mains socket and that the bottle warmer is cold
before moving it, cleaning it, storing it, doing maintenance work or in between warming cycles.
- Do not leave the bottle warmer exposed to atmospheric agents (rain, sun, etc.).
- Never touch the bottle warmer with wet or damp hands.
- Never submerge or wet the plug, the bottle warmer or power cable in water or any other liquid.
- Never touch the bottle warmer if it accidentally falls into water; unplug it immediately and do not use it again;
contact expert qualified operators or Artsana S.p.A. for further instructions.
- If the bottle warmer is faulty and/or not working correctly, switch it off immediately and disconnect the plug
from the mains socket. Do not attempt to open and/or tamper with the product. Contact your retailer or one
of Artsana S.p.A.'s authorised service centres.
- Do not attempt to open or repair the appliance. The bottle warmer can only be opened with special tools. The
power cable must only be replaced with another identical power cable to the one supplied with the appliance;
this operation must be performed by expert technicians or by Artsana S.p.A. only.
- If any repair work is needed, contact expert qualified operators or Artsana S.p.A. only. Incorrect repairs per-
formed by unauthorised technicians can cause serious damage or injury to users.
- When disposing of packaging, parts which wear out or the appliance itself, dispose of them at an appropriate
differentiated collection point, as requested by the laws in force in each country.
- The characteristics of this product may be modified at any time, without prior warning. If you have any doubts
on the explanations provided in this instruction manual, please contact your retailer or Artsana S.p.A.
USER INSTRUCTIONS
a. USE AT HOME
Warning:
Never use the bottle warmer without water in the heating tank.
To pour the correct amount of water into the tank, (140ml) use the feeding bottle which is marked with volume
levels or other suitable recipients. Never place the appliance under running water to fill the tank up.
1. Check that the power cable plug is always disconnected from the mains socket. Place the bottle warmer on a
flat, stable surface. Pour the correct amount of water into the bottle warmer**
Insert the feeding bottle/food jar slowly (remove the top and any labels on the baby food jar)inside the appli-
ance using the support for smaller baby food jars/feeding bottles (except for the Chicco Step Up feeding bottle
- 330ml). Remove the baby food jar support from the bottle warmer before placing the Chicco Step Up - 330ml
inside. Insert the feeding bottle/food jar inside the appliance using the support for smaller baby food jars/feeding
bottles (except for the Chicco Step Up feeding bottle - 330ml). Remove the support from the bottle warmer be-
fore placing the Chicco Step Up - 330ml inside. Make sure that no water overflows from the top of the appliance;
for small sized feeding bottles or jars, check that the water does not reach the top or open mouth of the same. If
water overflows from the bottle warmer when the feeding bottle is placed inside, immediately use a dry cloth to
dry the outside and base of the bottle warmer, then pour out the unneeded water from the tank.
Warning:
Before warming up baby food jars, remove the cap and any labels on the jar.
It is recommended to warm up feeding bottles with the ring and teat in place (not the cup) which will make it
easier to remove the bottle when the warm up cycle is over ** 120 ml of water for the Chicco Step Up feeding
bottle line and baby food jars; around 150 ml of water for the 150 ml Chicco Wellbeing feeding bottle line;
around 220 ml for the 250ml and 330ml Chicco Wellbeing feeding bottle range.
1. Check that the knob is set to "0" (OFF) and plug it into a mains socket.
2. Select the desired warm-up mode:
a. move the knob to the right, towards the "feeding bottle" icon to warm up feeding bottles
b. move the knob to the left, towards the "baby food" icon to warm up jars of baby food.
The red pilot light indicates that the appliance is warming up.
