1.1 SAFETY INFORMATION
The following provides an overview of all safety instructions which must be observed to
ensure safe use of your NUK Baby Menu. In the operating instructions, these safety
instructions appear in the order below, indicated by the symbol
Notes on effective and optimum use of the device are indicated by the label Note.
The NUK Baby Menu is intended for personal use and is not designed for
commercial applications. The appliance is designed for use in domestic and similar
applications including the following:

Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other professional
environments;

Farms;
–
Use by patrons of hotels, motels and other residential environments;
–
Environments such as bed and breakfast accommodation.
The device is intended solely for the preparation of foodstuffs and must not be used
for steam cleaning or sterilisation, to nebulise drugs or to break up hard objects
(e.g. ice cubes)
This appliance must not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cable out
of reach of children and domestic animals. Appliances can be used by persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Children must
not play with the appliance.
The device must be positioned on a smooth, level, dry, moisture-proof and non-
flammable surface – out of the reach of children.
Risk of injury! The blades are very sharp and must be handled with extreme care.
Always disconnect the device from the power supply if no electricity is required for
the current activity (e.g. cleaning, removal or insertion of blades or other detachable
parts, storage).
Never activate the device without a correctly inserted blade.
Before connecting the power supply, ensure that the local mains voltage matches
the voltage required by the device.
Always check the power cable for damage before using the device. If power cable
is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its after-sales service or by
similarly qualified personnel in order to avoid hazards.
