4.1 Hardware Installation

Note: If you have a wired LAN network you need to use an Ethernet cable to connect the
Conceptronic C54WMP to your router or switch.
Determine which type of cable you can use for your TV:
•
Component (Y, Pb, Pr).
•
S-Video.
•
Composite (Video Only).
•
SCART (Video & Audio).
For audio you can use the analogue RCA output (red and white RCA jacks) or the digital coaxial
output (orange RCA jack).
The remote control is using 2x AAA batteries (provided with the package).
You need to use the remote control to turn on/off the device.
Turn on your TV and select the correct Video Channel.
Your Conceptronic C54WMP will show the Conceptronic start-up screen when turning on the device.
5. First time setup & configuration
Note: In our manual we will use certain IP addresses to explain the features and functionalities of
the Conceptronic C54WMP. These settings can be different in your network environment.
We use following settings in our manual

Netmask
Gateway address
DNS (Dynamic Name Server)
: 192.168.1.50
: 255.255.255.0
: 192.168.1.1 (router as gateway)
: 192.168.1.1
