The Wireless part of the C54WMP will automatically detect what kind of configuration is necessary
for connecting towards an access point. If the access points is encrypted with WPA, the device will
detect this and you only have to enter the private shared key (PSK).
When your access point is not protected by a WEP or WPA encryption key, you can select 'Next' to
finish the configuration.
The Wireless configuration is now complete. Please continue to 'Chapter 6' for the use of the Media
Player.
You can manually change wireless settings through the Wireless Setup menu.
Note:
By default the C54WMP will search for a DHCP server. If the C54WMP is configured correctly
you will find an IP address on the bottom of the screen. If the screen is showing: IP: 0.0.0.0
the device could not find an IP address and you have to configure the C54WMP IP Network
settings manually (Chapter 5.4).

Windows Connect Now is included with XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) and later versions of Windows.
You can use WCN on your PC running Windows XP SP2 or later to transfer your wireless settings to a
portable USB flash drive (not delivered with this package). It is advised to have a working wireless
connection on your computer to configure WCN through a USB flash drive.
