Insert the gas cartridge into the socket of the tool, holding the dosage valve. (VII)
Insert the tip of the dosage valve into the tool connection. (VIII)
Close the lid of the socket and make sure the safety device of the lid has clicked into place.
Note! During installation of the gas cartridge make sure the safety device of the tool has not been pressed.
In order to remove the gas cartridge from the socket, press the safety device of the valve lightly and remove the cartridge.
Filling of the dispenser (IX)
Use exclusively the joining elements indicated in the manual. Use solely nails connected with a paper band. Nails connected with
a plastic band will cause jamming, so they are not recommended. Do not exceed the nominal capacity of the dispenser.
While fi lling the dispenser, keep the tool in such a manner that the outlet is not directed towards the user or other persons. While
fi lling the dispenser, do not keep a fi nger on the trigger.
Pull the pusher handle back, until it locks.
Insert nails in the dispenser slot, with heads directed towards the handle.
Release the pusher safety device, pressing the safety device button.
Switch safety device function
The switch safety device function precludes operation of the nailing tool without nails, since this would increase energy consumption
and the risk of premature wear or damage of elements of the tool. If there are fi ve or fewer nails in the dispenser, the safety device
is activated, and it is not possible to press the switch. The pusher handle is in the fi eld described as „RELOAD". (X)
In case the switch safety device is activated, it is required to fi ll the dispenser with nails, following the procedure described in
"Filling of the dispenser".
Hanger
The hanger may be used:
- as an additional battery safety device,
- as a belt or harness holder,
- as a nailing tool hanger.
OPERATION OF THE TOOL
Before each use of the tool make sure no element of the tool or the power supply system is damaged.
In case any defects are detected, the damaged elements must be immediately replaced.
Work with the tool
The tool has a single sequence starting system. This means that in order to start the tool, it is necessary to activate both the safety
device and the switch. When the tool is applied at the place where it is supposed to be started, and once the switch has been
pressed, only a single operation is started. The subsequent nailing operations may be realised only when the switch has returned
to the neutral position, while the safety device remains pressed.
Press the tool where a nail is to be driven in, so that the safety device (XI) is activated; the fuel from the gas cartridge is forced
into the combustion chamber, and the ventilator mixes it with the air.
Press the switch; a spark ignites the gas and air mixture, moving the piston and driving a joining element.
Lift the nailing tool so that the safety device returns to the neutral position and release the switch, which will permit the ventilator
to remove the hot gas and cool the internal elements of the nailing tool.
Note! The internal elements and the head of the tool may become hot after a prolonged use or after the tool is used for a couple of
subsequent short periods. Do not exceed the maximum capacity indicated in the technical data table. Wait until the hot elements
have cooled down, before you proceed to adjustments or removal of jammed nails.
Note! All the actions indicated below must be realised while the battery and the gas cartridge are disconnected from the tool. The
battery and the gas cartridge must be removed from the socket of the tool!
Adjustment of the depth of nailing
Before you proceed to adjustments, remove nails from the dispenser. Remove both the screws of the safety device (XII) and
adjust its position (XIII). Moving the safety device towards the handle of the tool increases the nailing depth, while moving the
safety device in the opposite direction reduces the nailing depth. Tighten the screws. Thanks to the scale on the safety device it
is possible to adjust the nailing depth precisely.
Removal of jammed nails
If possible, remove the remaining nails from the dispenser, and then remove two screws of the head (XIV). Lift the head of the
nailing tool (XV) and remove the jammed nail. Lower the head and tighten the screws.
