Assembly
Caution! Risk of injury!
- Ensure that you have sufficient
space in which to work, and
that you do not endanger other
people.
- All hoods and protective devic-
es must be assembled properly
before commissioning.
- Remove the battery before
changing the settings on the
tool.
Assemble/set protective hood
Adjust the protective cover such that any
sparks or detached parts cannot hit either
the user or any bystanders.
The protective cover must also be posi-
tioned such that the sparks cannot ignite
combustible parts, including those in the
surroundings.
The device must only be ope-
rated with the protective hood
mounted.
Pay attention to the protective
cover!
Cutting with this tool is only per-
missible when using the option-
ally available, closed protective
cover (see Spare parts/accesso-
ries).

1. Open the tightening lever
(10).
2. Place the protective hood (12)
on the positioning holes.
3. Turn the protective hood (12)
into the working position. The
closed side of the protective
hood must always face the
operator.
4. Close the tightening lever
(10) again. The protective hood
should not be able to be turned
any more.
If needed, the tension on the adjustment
nut (16) can be set.
Mount additional handgrip
The device must only be oper-
ated with the handgrip mounted.
Screw the additional handgrip (1),
depending on the type of work, to
the left, right or above the device
using the threading for the hand-
grip (3).
Installing/changing disc
Check the tightness of the
clamping nut (19) each time be-
fore use.
If the rotary direction is indicat-
ed on your disc, ensure that it
corresponds to the rotary direc-
tion of the angle grinder when
mounting. This is indicated on
the device next to the spindle
stop button (2).
