Wiring Connections
Risk of electric shock. Can shock, burn
or kill. Connect ground wire before connecting power
supply wires. Use the wire size (including the ground
wire) specified in the wiring chart. Connect the pump to
a separate branch circuit with no other appliances on it.
Risk of explosion. Do not ground to a gas
supply line.
Risk of electric shock. Can shock,
burn or kill. To avoid dangerous or fatal electrical
shock, turn OFF power to motor before working on
electrical connections.
Risk of fire. Incorrect voltage can cause
a fire or seriously damage the motor and voids the
warranty. The supply voltage must be within ±10%
of the motor nameplate voltage. If in doubt consult a
licensed electrician.
Connection Procedure:
1. Install, ground, wire and maintain this pump in
accordance with electrical code requirements.
Consult your local building inspector for information
about codes.
2. Provide a correctly fused disconnect switch for
protection while working on motor. Consult local or
national electrical codes for switch requirements.
