5. ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS

To guarantee electrical safety, the equipment is provided with an electrical unit that is
protected against the inlet of water. If a cable or any of the components are damaged, the
whole electrical unit should be changed. None of the components of this electrical unit should
be handled, as it would affect the safety of the equipment.
REPLACING THE ELECTRICAL UNIT
If a cable or a component of the electrical unit is damaged, proceed as follows:

Disconnect the apparatus from the mains.

Dismantle the apparatus from the swimming pool and remove.

Disconnect the motor from the body unit at the bottom of the apparatus and remove.

Place the new motor and fasten it to the body unit.

Reassemble the equipment in the pool following the instructions given in the INSTALLATION
section of this manual.
6. WINTER SEASON
To ensure the equipment is properly maintained during the winter, or when it is not used for long
periods, remove the swimming-pool equipment, dry all its component parts and store in a dry place.
Taking advantage of this period to visually check the state of the cable and all the other electrical
components is advisable and if substituting them is necessary.
7. TROUBLES HOOTING
PROBLEM
The motor does not start
The Skimmer does not filter,
but water enters into the pool
The Skimmer returns dirty
water to the pool
The filter produces little flow
If you cannot solve the problem, contact the pool manufacturer on the telephone number given
in the instructions.
CAUSE
Lack of current in the electric line
The sponges or cartridge have not
been correctly assembled
The sponges or cartridge are
worn
The sponges or cartridge are dirty
due to use
SOLUTION
Check that there is current in the
electric line
Check their correct position
inside the Skimmer
Substitute with new sponges or
cartridge
Washing
