Application
Siedle Touch 10: 25.7 cm (10.1")
control panel for door communica-
tion and access control in conjunc-
tion with the Siedle Vario bus.
For making door calls via digital call
buttons or call numbers as well as
for setting codes for control func-
tions / access control.
It can be used in the In-Home bus or
Access Professional system.
Depending on the functional scope
of the access control and the
intercom system, further devices are
required for management and con-
trol functions.
Electrical voltage
Mounting, installation and servicing
work on electrical devices may only
be performed by a suitably qualified
electrician.
When mounting, consider the
lighting conditions, as these can
affect the legibility of the panel.
• Direct backlight
• Direct sunlight
• Reflective surfaces
• Direct light sources such as spot-
lights
Note
Avoid direct sunlight / prolonged
exposure to heat: If devices are
exposed to sunlight for a prolonged
period of time, the device's surface
temperature or the temperature
inside the device may exceed the
maximum permitted ambient tem-
perature for operation. Observe the
permissible temperature range.
Mounting
During installation, if necessary,
the Vario bus addresses must be
changed using the rotary switch and
other functions must be activated via
DIL switch.
The rotary switch and DIL switch
are located on the installation pcb
behind the camera. If there is no
camera, then the installation pcb is
located behind the dummy module
instead.

1 Address setting
(Only In-Home bus)
If more than one door station with
a Siedle Touch, DRM 612-... and/
or COM 611-... is installed in a
Vario bus line, then each of these
devices must receive its own Vario
bus address.
The address can be set from 1 to 8
and may only be used once in any
one system.
DIL switch 1:
Evaluation of the E/G input
(external message)
Sensors, etc. can be connected to
the E/G input so that an action can
be triggered on the Siedle Touch.
The action can be set using the con-
figuration software (e.g. call users
via external button).
If the E/G input is to be used by
Siedle Touch, then DIL switch 1 must
be set to OFF (default).
If an external door release button is
to be connected to the E/G input,
for example, then DIL switch 1 must
be set to ON.
DIL switch 2:
Parallel operation with
ZAM 600/670-... on one door
The status information (call, speech,
door released) is evaluated by the
Siedle Touch and output on the
display. If a Siedle Touch and a
ZAM 600/670-... status display
module are to be connected on the
same door, parallel operation must
be activated via DIL switch 2 (to ON)
on the Siedle Touch. Otherwise, the
status information cannot be sig-
nalled correctly.
