Reinigung und Desinfektion
Nach der Behandlung alle Materialien mit einem handelsüblichen Gazetupfer
oder einem Papiertuch und ggf. einem Lösungs mittel entfernen.
Die Desinfektion kann mit einer handelsüblichen Tauch- oder Wischdesinfek-
tion erfolgen. DMG empfiehlt die ausschließliche Verwendung von RKI (Robert
Koch Institut) gelisteten Desinfektionsmitteln.
Die LuxaTray-Einsätze sind nach Desinfektion wiederverwendbar, sollten aber
nach 5 – 10 Anwendungen oder bei sichtbaren Verschleißspuren, z. B. Krat-
zern, ausgetauscht werden.

Instructions for Use
Product Description
LuxaTray is a reusable light-shielding tray for the mixing and the temporary
storage of light- and contamination-sensitive materials (e.g. composites, solutions,
ceramic materials, veneers). LuxaTray protects up to 5 materials from premature
polymerization.

Instructions for Use
To avoid contact of the material with the cover, the material quantity per well
should not exceed a fill level of 10 mm.
After treatment, remove all of the materials from the LuxaTray and clean or
replace the LuxaTray insert.
Observe the manufacturer's instructions of the materials used.
Avoid direct exposure of the LuxaTray to light. Always keep the filled LuxaTray
closed and close it immediately after removing any materials in order to avoid
premature polymerization of the materials in the tray.
Recommended Use
Prepare LuxaTray
Align the two openings at the underside of the LuxaTray insert with the guide-
ways of the LuxaTray and locate the LuxaTray insert into position by applying
light pressure (Fig. 1).
Fill/remove materials
1. Load the wells with the materials needed.
Please note: For a safe allocation of the materials, the wells of the LuxaTray insert
are numbered from 1 to 5.
2. Remove the desired amount of material as needed.
3. Close the cover.
Cleaning and Disinfection
After treatment, remove all of the materials using a conventional gauze swab
or a tissue and, if necessary, a solvent.
Disinfection can be carried out using a commercially available dipping or wiping
disinfectant. DMG recommends using only disinfecting solutions listed by the
RKI (Robert Koch Institute).
The LuxaTray inserts are reusable after disinfection, although they should be
replaced after 5 –10 uses or if visible signs of wear, e.g. scratches, appear.
