People wearing Pacemakers are advised to see their doctor before using this device.
Handle gas bottles with care - there is increased danger if the bottle or its valve are damaged.
The electric currents flowing through a conductor cause electrical and magnetic fields (EMF).
All welders should use the following guidelines to minimize exposure to the welding circuit's electroma-
- Regroup the electrode cables and the earth clamp. If possible, attach them with tape
- Do not roll the electrode cable, torch or the earth clamp around the body.
- Do not stand between the cables. If the electrode cable or torch is on the right, the work cable should
- Connect the earth cable to the workpiece as close as possible to the welding area.
SYMPTOMS, REASONS, SOLUTIONS
SYMPTOMS
The welding wire speed is not
constant.
The unwinding motor doesn't
operate.
Bad wire unwinding.
No welding current
The WIRE rubs down after the
rollers.
The welding cord is porous.
Very significant flashing parti-
cules.
No gas at the torch output.

CARMIG
Do not use the welding unit to unfreeze pipes.
gnetic fields
also be on the right.
- Do not work next to the welding power source.
POSSIBLE REASONS
Cracklings blocking up the ope-
ning.
The wire skids in the rollers.
Reel or roller brake too tight.
Electrical supply problem.
Covering wire guide dirty or
damaged.
Reel brake too tight
Bad connection to the mains
supply.
Bad earth connection.
Power contactor inoperative.
Covering WIRE guide crushed.
Locking of the wire in the torch
No capillary tube.
Wire speed too fast
The gas flow is not sufficient.
Gas bottle empty.
Gas quality non-satisfying.
Air flow or wind influence.
Gas nozzle too full.
Bad wire quality.
Surface to weld in bad condition.
(rust, etc...)
Arc voltage too low or too high.
Bad earth connection.
Protecting gas insufficient.
Bad gas connection.
SOLUTIONS
Clean out the contact batch or change it and replace the
anti-adherence product.
- Control the roller pressure or replace it.
- Wire diameter non-consistent with roller
- Covering wire guide in the torch not consistent with wire.
Release the brake and rollers.
Check that the running button is on the position on.
Clean or replace
Release the brake
Check the branch connection and ensure it is fed by 3
phases.
Control the earth cable (connection and clamp condition).
Control the torch trigger.
Check the covering and torch body.
Clean or replace.
Check the presence of capillary tube.
Reduce the wire speed
Adjusting range 15 to 20 L / min.
Clean the working metal.
Replace it.
Replace it.
Avert air blast, protect welding area.
Clean or replace the gas nozzle.
Use adapted WIRE for MIG-MAG welding.
Clean the working parts before welding.
See welding settings.
Check and place the earth cable to have a better connec-
tion.
Adjust the gas flow.
See if the gas coupling beside the engine is well connec-
ted.
