Installation of the compact heat meter

Only install the heat meter in the installation position for which it is constructed
– meters for horizontal installation in horizontal pipes, ascending pipe meters in
ascending pipes (upward direction of flow), down pipe meters in down pipes
(downward direction of flow).
Use the same installation method within one property! The display must be acces-
sible at all times and readable without further aids!
Calibration-relevant heat meter seals may neither be damaged nor removed.
Otherwise the guarantee and validity of the device calibration is void.

Rinse the pipe thoroughly – use the replacement pipe section for this purpose.

Close the shut-off valves in the inlet and outlet.

Dismantle the replacement pipe section.

Install the heat meter – you must use the new seals provided.

Turn the computer unit to a position in which it is easily readable.

Installation of the temperature sensors

Temperature sensors must only be installed as they have been delivered. The
cables must neither be shortened nor extended.
!
The temperature sensors can be installed in special ball valves or dip sleeves
which are authorised for this type of sensor. – Observe the national regulations.
!
It must be possible to remove the inlet and outlet sensors at all times. – Please
observe this (e.g. when insulating the pipes).
